Barbara McCrory is a local Rockport, MA artisan creating one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces from recycled and repurposed materials. With an eye for unexpected fabrics, colors, and textures, Barbara finds inspiration everywhere—from nature to antique shops, vintage finds, eBay, and materials that might otherwise be overlooked.
Each piece is thoughtfully constructed by skilled stitchers through a cottage-industry approach, giving new life to beautiful materials while creating something truly unique.
Barbara also welcomes special orders, including meaningful keepsakes that incorporate a customer’s own treasured fabrics into the design of a purse or other piece.
Giving back is an important part of Barbara’s work, with a portion of her profits supporting charitable causes, including Cape Ann Animal Aid and organizations that provide food and clothing to people in need.
For Barbara, inspiration can come from anywhere—and the possibilities of what an old piece of fabric can become are endless.
